Dicycloveine is a smooth muscle antispasmodic primarily indicated for treatment of spasm conditions involving smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract cause by irritable colon (mucous colitis, spastic colon).

Hyoscine acts on the autonomic nervous system and prevents muscle spasm. It is an alkaloid. C17H21NO2, obtained from various plants of the nightshade family such as belladonna.
